To make your ADL-528 region free (May also work on the CH302 as well)

Press Open/close so tray is out

Press stop

Press 3 3 5 8 (you may see no response while pressing each button)

Now press a button from 1 to 6

Where the number you press is the region so for region 2 the complete code is

3 3 5 8 2

You will get a message - 'Manufacturer Setting - Region Code 2'

or similar depending on which final digit you type

Press setup to exit and open/close to close drawer

To select All regions

You would press 3 3 5 8 and the fast forward button (x2/x4/x8)

You will get a message - 'Manfacturer Setting - Region Code xx'

Where xx is blank for pre 10.01 firmwares and 0 for 10.01 firmware.
