Bush DVD141TV

Just received the service manual for the Bush DVD141TV.The circuit for the DVD player section appears to be Identical to the DVD-101 made by kroton that I posted on my website apart from a small difference around U6 (the Eprom) which appears to be an attempt to make the drawing easier to view.

The power supply diagram is omitted as it uses the TV's power.

The good news is that it is a better quality diagram making it easier to view.

It also gives a diagram for the remote control and the front panel.

******Updated******

Interestingly the front panel doesn't control the player in the same way that the AD-L528 does i.e. using the 3 pin comms bus.The Bush uses an 80C52 processor to intercept the Infrared signal from the PT2222 based handset.Generating it's own signal that it passes to the main DVD PCB.It therefore generates the same RC codes to control the player as the remote does.

The PCB layout is somewhat different to the AD-L528's the connectors are mounted on the short side of the board rather than the long side.It also may have an Dil based EEprom fitted similar to the Kotron unit.

U6 (EEPROM) fitted instead of U4 (Flash)
